I don’t know about you, but my New Year has started out very cold and rainy. I needed something to warm me up, so I headed to the North American shard of Deepwood, to revisit a dimension I’d looked at a couple of weeks ago. The Hanging Garden of Babylon is a fairly common theme to dimensions, but the beauty of the theme is that there are as many ways to interpret it as you can find models to work from–if you work from one at all!
Edgestone Ridge was a great choice as the base dimension for this build, because the layout makes it perfect for layered themes like the Hanging Gardens (still one of the seven wonders of the ancient world). Cerulienne uses 1500 of the tier 5 item limit of 1520 for Edgestone Ridge, and this brilliantly colorful dimension is a pleasure to explore.
The picture above is one of my own favorite renditions of the Hanging Gardens, and you can find it with others at imgkid.com.
Looking at this dimension, I wanted to see what else Cerulienne had made on Deepwood, having migrated there some time ago from Laethys. What I found were several promising works in progress, and one other completed, the Kor-Fae Castle, done with Korami@Deepwood (also originally from Laethys). I encourage anyone who can, to get out to both Deepwood and Laethys and explore these dimensions in person, screenshots can’t hope to do them justice!
Of course, I must leave some secrets for visitors to find for themselves, but I hope that you take the time to check this one out in person! Cerulienne’s dimension currently has 32 All Time votes, but I hope to see it receive many, many more.
