Carnival of the Ascended 2016

Hello again, Dimensionerds!  The RIFT store is getting updated a bit at a time with new items for Carnival of the Ascended this year, and the big thing to hit it today is the new dimension key:  The Spawn Pit.

This key is a dimension of the first boss room in Planebreaker Bastion.  Remember that everything on the PTS is subject to change, but the current T5 limit is 2520, and the currency cost for the key is the same as for Castle Fortune, which is also still available this year.

Like Skeletor, but waaayyyy more cute.

The other big piece for this year’s event isn’t a dimension, but a costume item.  That’s right, Guardian and Defiant wings are here once again.  Shown above, the Guardian style.  On PTS they are currently not dyeable, but we’ve been assured they will be once they hit live servers.

Another new item for direct sale off the shop is this, the Anniversary Cake:

This may be the cutest dimension item ever.

For the rest of the items, there has been no change from previous years, as of this writing.  Below are some links about the relevant Carnival of the Ascended goodies for dimensions:

What’s in the Kits?

And here is a link from RiftGrate that still has some relevant dimension and Carnival information.

In addition to the items on the store, there are some interactive dimension items that are rewards for completing this year’s Carnival Story quests:

Both of these items and the dimension itself are listed under Accol on the PTS–thanks Accol for allowing us access!

Remember that everything on the PTS is subject to change at any time before hitting live servers, and that everything may not make it to live.  Either way, I’m glad we get a week off between the Anniversary Event ticket grind and Carnival, so here’s looking forward to next week (providing things don’t get pushed back again!).

Happy Farming!
